We are volunteer Community First Responders who live or work within the Vale of Belvoir and surrounding areas in North Leicestershire and South Nottinghamshire. We work in partnership with East Midlands Ambulance Service and respond to emergency medical calls within our area, providing vital assistance to people who are ill
or injured prior to the arrival of the Emergency Ambulance.

I thought it was an excellent course........the main advantage for me over previous first aid courses including 4 day first aid at work courses, was that you explained why certain actions were done which made the whole thing more logical. Melissa T - Hose
We also work in association with the British Heart Foundation to deliver their “Heartstart” courses, following accreditation by the approved British Heart Foundation training director. This gives us a great opportunity to pass on some basic techniques to local people which will help them preserve life in an emergency
