Excellent! Extremely informative and particularly good that, when practising, we had a one-to-one guide with us

I feel much more confident now I have completed the course and would definitely recommend it to others.
I’m really glad I did this, it was an excellent course and you made it all very easy to understand. I liked being able to have a go with someone helping me.

Courses will cover dealing with: Conscious patients, Unconscious Patients, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation - (“CPR”), Signs of a Heart Attack, Choking and Bleeding.
Courses are very practical, with lots of time to practice with the guidance of an experienced and fully Trained Responder. Comfortable clothing with trousers for the ladies (and gents !) is recommended.
Here is some of the feedback we’ve had from the courses we have run around The Vale so far:

Rita from Hose was our 100th trained person in The Vale and was delighted to attend the recent course in Harby.
I liked the way the film followed each presetation - bringing to life what we had been taught
We also work in association with the British Heart Foundation to deliver their Heartstart courses, following accreditation by the approved British Heart FoundationTraining Director. This gives us a great opportunity to pass on some basic techniques to local people which will help them preserve life in an emergency.
We are volunteer Community First Responders who live or work within
The Vale of Belvoir and surrounding areas in North Leicestershire and
South Nottinghamshire. We work in partnership with East Midlands
Ambulance Service and respond to emergency medical calls within our area,
providing vital assistance to people who are ill or injured prior to the arrival
of the Emergency Ambulance.
I would feel very confident to instruct someone else to help me in an emergency.
Anne B - Harby

I thought it was an excellent course........the main advantage for me over previous courses, was that you explained why certain actions were done which made the whole thing more logical.
